Winter Warmth Drive

Humboldt winters are wet, windy and long. A hot meal helps, but it doesn't keep anyone dry overnight. Each winter we collect warm gear and get it to the people we see on the route every day.

What's needed

Gear that holds up to a Humboldt winter

New or gently used, clean and dry. If you're not sure whether something's useful, ask first and we'll tell you honestly.
  • Drop it off by arrangement. Email HSO@humboldtsoupson.com or call (707) 672-9947 so someone is there.
  • Give money for gear. PayPal opens with “Winter gear” as the purpose.
  • Collect with others. Workplaces, churches and classrooms make the biggest difference.
